Our '03 compadre, "Just Do It", broke his wrist in multiple places in 
Pennsylvania and was forced into surgery, pins and a 
shoulder-to-fingertip cast.
He went back again from Springer this year and started over, and 
completed the end of September, although he limped onto Katahdin with 
a badly damaged knee the docs wanted him to stay off of.
Sunny, our SORUCK hostess, broke her wrist in NY in '02 and after a 
week off the trail, went on to complete, although how she got up 
Katahdin with one hand I'll never know.
