"Journalist"?  That wasn't a journalist, but a character assassin.  Someone posted on an unregulated internet blog.  Before spreading links, just look at them for a moment and see if they pass the smell test.  Why would a foreign language message board get the scoop on a domestic story?  Why would Google only pick a single instance of the story.  On your Google Alert or news searches, how many times do you see multiple occurrences of wire stories?  Since abuse is such a sour topic, then wouldn't you agree that it's something that shouldn't be casually tossed into a public forum?
 
A new account at Whiteblaze posted the link to the foreign blog about a half hour after the post was deposited at the foreign blog.  The poster also has posted a total of three times at Whiteblaze, all negatively about One Leg.  Bottom line, it appears an existing member of Whiteblaze (with an axe to grind) created an alias and forwarded the story using intentional mischaracterizations and outright lies.
 
Their conduct is embarrassing.  They deserve a butt-kicking, plain and simple.

Anybody would react the same way. And especially the "molestation" that he 
supposedly admitted to is a VERY sour subject to me. Truthfully, did you at 
first think "No, they are lying" when you first read it? Maybe people that know 
him better than I do, wouldn't have thought this way, but there are cases of 
highly respected individuals in society, that you would never have thought, had 
molested before. And could very well molest again.

I was ALSO asking everyone, after reacting MY feelings about it, if maybe 
anyone already knew about this. Don't you think if it were true the trail 
community should know about it since a lot of people knew him and brought him into 
their homes. 

Now, I REALLY hope we find out it was all a lie!
