In a surprise upset victory Ralph Nader emerged as the winner of today's US
presidential election with 80% of the popular vote. The 2 major candidates
received only 1% each in a complete reversal of the pre-election polls. A
check back with the poll participants revealed that they had engaged in a
massive practical joke on the pollsters by reporting the opposite of their
intentions. The remaining 18% of the voters all wrote themselves in with
each receiving a single vote.
