We've been using the Platypus Hoser bladders for a couple of years. They are
not very expensive, and seem to work well. I, for one, really like being
able to drink without stopping.

I have seen reports that they develop holes along the crease lines when they
are folded repeatedly, but I have not seen this yet. OTOH, I have one
bladder with about 6 patches where I dropped it in some thorns, so I carry
the patch kit now. (The patches are great, and stick even when the bladder
is wet from the leak.)

The only serious problem with a Platy bladder came last winter, when one
opened inside my pack. Somehow the screw top came loose, which might have
been due to the cold.
