[at-l] That Crazy Cot/Pack Again



Hmm...perhaps the sides would be made from two telescoping titanium tubes on
each side much like leki hiking staffs but would have a hinge at the bottom
when folded up.  Up at the top and the bottom would be 2 U shaped pieces of
titanium of which the pack would hook to while carrying but would be used as
the legs of the cot when sleeping.

When ready for camp, you would take off the pack & slip it off the top ends
of the frame.  Then, one could take the two telescoping ends and unfold them
on each side.  When fully extended each telescoping end would be 3 1/2' in
length.  This would give an overall length of 7 '.  There would be two of
the U shaped pieces of titanium frame used as legs in the middle and one on
each end for head and leg support.

Whattiyah think?  Would it work?
