[at-l] Apples and orangutans

I've seen more soccer-moms driving SUVs than knuckle-draggers. We prefer good ole pickup trucks, maybe with camper tops that make them look a little like SUVs...

so that's why my knuckles get sore...

SO let me get this straight, The Honda's are apples and the
SUV's are orangutans because they are driven by knuckle
draggin males?

Went on a hike yesterday. Trip report will follow. We
discussed SUV's. We noted that at all of the trials heads we
have been at we have never seen a Hummer or Caddie SUV etc.
What SUV's we do see are old beat up chevies and fords.

Apologizes to all you knuckle draggin males.

>Umm, I think this says alot more (bad) about Suburbans than
it does about Hondas. There've been studies showing how much
(more) damage (because of where the bumpers contact, relative
height, etc.) SUV's cause cars on impact. Not to mention the
size/weight differential. At any rate, I defy any Suburban
to come out the winner in an impact with a tractor-trailer.
Anybody care to give it a go? ;-)
