If you are considering a New Beetle, look for one with crank windows.   I 
heard on Car Talk a couple of weeks ago that Volkwagons have a problem with  
their automatic wondow motors.  They seem to bite the dust right after the  
warranty expires.  The cost to replace?  About $1400 per window.
