Haven't seen the veggie mix.  I'm dubious of a lot of those mixes 
because
they often contain bell pepper, which I detest.  But I love dried 
refried
beans on the trail with that taco bell hot sauce.  (.. and I'm guessing 
nobody
should camp close to me on those nights.)

Oh yeah, I love hummus on the trail.  I have to remember not to
make a full batch though.  Did that last year and had a huge ziploc
full.  I gave a bunch away and still didn't manage to finish it all.  
But I
especially love it in the summer - it's such a cool, creamy, yummy 
snack.
