OK, you weren't addressing that to one of the "inmates," but I will
bite anyway. In 14 weeks, I'll be retired. The first thing on my post-
retirement "job list" is to purchase lighter weight gear to replace heavy
stuff bought years ago. The first two items I want to swap out are
sleeping bag and tent.
I'm considering a Feathered Friends Winter Wren, because I 1. sleep
cold, 2. have difficulty with side-zips & love the idea of the front zip,
and 3. also love the openings for arms and feet so I can stay warm while
cooking and doing other chores. The only down side (yes, I see it coming)
is the price. Anyone own a Chickadee, Rock Wren, or Winter Wren and can
tell me if there are any problems with them? Or...has anyone found any
other brand that has the arm/foot openings w/ center zipper?
