[at-l] April gear & wear

Amy you didn't say what part of the AT you were hiking on in April, nor what time of the month. Early month is colder of course. 

I usually take:

1 pr. shorts
1 pr. wind/rain repellant pants
1 wind/rain repellant jacket
1 thermal top
hiking socks
1 t-shirt

Early in April, especially in the mornings, it was chilly, sometimes frosty in northern GA. It was always pleasant and my asthma was never affected.
