I wish to offer my public apologies to Miss Janet whose post of the 26th 
re: alcohol at the Folklife Center I apparently mistook to be in support of 
covert drinking in spite of the rules. She informs  me that she supports 
ALDHA's crackdown on alcohol at the Gathering. I'm glad to hear that.

My point remains the same for those who would defend ignoring the rule. If 
you feel you *must* bring alcohol and consume it where you camp... camp 
elsewhere. Don't destroy ALDHA's relationship with the Folklife Center by 
flaunting the rules and while you are at it, give some serious thought to 
why you cannot get through 3 days among friends without a drink.
