[at-l] all this boot camp talk! :)

I love to go barefooted...though --having a great respect for Felix's
friends...the snakes--if the trail is overgrown or where I can't clearly see
where I'm placing my foot, then I wear my boots...and maybe even my gaiters
(now that I have a pair).

There's nothing like walking on moss. That's just Foot Love! All nice and
softer than any carpet man has ever made. And the mud!!! Just to feel it
gush up between your toes....sigh....

The only thing I hate about it is when it rains and your feet don't have a
chance to dry every so often, then become really tender and slice open at
the slightest thing.

Stone bruises are a real pain...and I find that when I've worn shoes
continuously over longer periods of time that I tend to end up with one
(usually in the spring). But, once I've had that first one...my feet seem
to be OK for the rest of the season.
