I haven't managed to make it to Glacier Point yet. Just another excuse to
go back.
There are dry campsites on the Tenaya Lake side just before Clouds Rest,
and also right at the base in Little Yosemite. Camping on Clouds Rest? It
would be just my luck to get caught in a windstorm in the middle of the
night <g>.
I've also managed to work up the odd occasional thunderstorm (Jim+Ginny,
how'd you make out in Alaska?  It was your turn you know!), and Clouds Rest
is NOT where I'd want to be with Mother Nature all riled up!

Umm, 15 feet, now that I think about it it was probably more like 12. Some
big flat rocks scattered about that I went over rather than around.

And the walk into T. Meadows coming in from the Tahoe-Yosemite route is
gorgeous. And Cathedral Lake. Lots of sweet spots out there, and I haven't
even scrathed the surface in exploring out there...
