[at-l] New A.T. books

Kurt "Tank" Siefken AT 2003 has a pair of books out. One is
"Walking North: An Appalachian Trail Journal" which is his journal
from trailjournals.com in book form. The second is "Mind, Muscle,
and Mountain: A Six Month Adventure on the Appalachian Trail" which
is a filled-out, narrative, version of his hike, with details not found
in the journal. These are slim volumes, and well-written--though not at
the level of the memoirs by Robert Rubin, Ken Wadness, David Brill, or
Mic Lowther--but enjoyable enough if you're an AT book fiend. They're
available at $13 for the journal and $14 for the memoir at cafepress.com
(lo-o-o-ng URL):
