That makes THREE of us...at least.
So, who wants to car pool to the Gathering, then?

Oh Oh, we are in the same area code. Let me know when you
want to hit some of the PA trails. I know all of the very
rocky ones.

Actually, that Cream album was "Disraeli Gears", if I'm not mistaken.
(And I'm NOT...)

Disraeli? That was that 1967 album by Cream, right?

Actually, I bought Wingfoot's (yeah, I know; so SUE me) southbounder version of his "Thru-hiker's Handbook" the first year it was available...although I don't know if he still produces one of that type. Maybe it'll be worth something someday?

Well...the guidebooks are printed with locations from N to S. Seems to me
that folx like Felix got to read the guidebooks from front to back instead
of back to front. I always wondered about that...ifin the majority of folx
goes a certain way....'peers to me that they'd print 'em that way, too.
Hmmm...

hiking. I'm not sure if that's an appropriate topic for the list but I'll
give it a shot anyway ;-)

Katahdin. A smaller number of folks do it the other way around. For those
of you who have completed a one-way thru hike of the AT, what made you
decide on the direction of travel? I'm curious to hear from people like
Felix and others who have "gone against the grain" so to speak by starting
their walk at Katahdin.

You think I know anything about this? (other than that my knees hurt?)...
All I did was cut and paste! <g>
