On TWC tonight they were discussing Ivan. It has gone down to Category 4, but just barely with winds of 150.
It is common with storms of this size to waiver a little bit in intensity, but there is just very little between it and
the U.S coast line in quite a few places. And it is over the warm waters of the Caribbean. I fear it's not going to be pretty.
I feel for Florida. But the Carolinas have had it bad too. We can't take much more rain. We are saturated too.
Last week I was driving over Lake Hartwell. Usually the level is dropping as Fall approaches. Not this year. Full pool.

God! Amy is right, Florida CANNOT catch a break. This hurricane is
massive. It destroyed 90% of the residences in Grenada as well as a prison. Ivan
was only a category 3 when it hit Grenada. Ivan is a "a powerful and deadly
Category-FIVE hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson Scale." The effects of this
hurricane following on the heels of three other tropical storms could be
potentially devastating for Florida.
God help us all.
Kelly
