[at-l] Dehydrated Meals

they had all these single dehydrated meals and I looked at them with
some skepticism and held on to my wallet as I looked. For $3.49, yes $3.49,
was the price of each of the meals!! The name of the company who makes them
is called Enertia Trail Foods out of Ohio, http://www.trailfoods.com

Sparky, a couple of years ago at the Gathering in WVA, I was fortunate
enough to catch one of their desserts that was thrown into the audience. I
kept thinking I would eat it and hauled it on a couple of trips. Finally,
this past spring I made it and shared it with my hiking partner. It was the
Grand Canyon Cheesecake, and it was easy to make and delicious. Now, I
don't spend over $3 per meal for the food I carry in my pack usually, but if
one can afford the price, I would certainly recommend the dessert. If the
rest of their dishes are as good, they would at least be nice to have in the
pack for a change. Or to have in your hiker supply box when the unexpected
opportunity for a trip pops up and you don't have time to dehydrate your
own.
