Most of the time I would totally agree.

Unfortunately, the costal erosion in Louisiana is very nearly completely the
fault of the Army Corps of Engineers.  If you care to come down here, I can
prove it to you easily.  I can show you literally millions of dead cypress
trees.  The Corps killed the marsh with the drainage projects in the first
half of the 20th century.  They didn't know what they were doing.  They
thought they were helping.  Oops.  With the marsh dead, there isn't anything
left to hold the mud in place, so it washes out.  There really isn't any way
to fix it.
