She ended up losing half her forearm. I was on the porch
yesterday reading the paper when I heard the police flying by at very high speed. I
thought to myself something must be going on. The pond is 2/3rd's of a mile from
me.
It could possibly be the same woman landscaper who does our next
door neighbor's lawn. It probably is because not many women landscape. They think
they got her lower areas and legs fixed enough to allow her to walk again.
That alligator is about right for the one I nearly walked into this winter, but
the island is full of them, and I'm pretty good a sight measuring and mine was
about 11 feet.
The paper said the bite power of a 12 foot alligator is in the 2300
ppsi range. A lion is around 640...
