The American Hiking Society has several opportunities for those interested in 
spending a few days volunteering to improve hiking trails.  Below is their 
announcement.

American Hiking Society and our Volunteer Vacations program need your help. 
Below are some wonderful volunteer opportunities that are in danger of being 
canceled due to low signups. If you haven't taken your vacation yet this year or 
even if you have already participated in a Volunteer Vacation why not 
consider signing up for one of the trips below. Fall is a wonderful time to be 
outdoors and volunteering your time for one of these worthwhile opportunities is 
give something back to the land and have fun doing it.
