[at-l] "Berry" Good Recipe Suggestions?

Actually, that was exactly what I meant. The benefits and hassles of LNT
should be much more topical than spurious claims about a variety of
Presidents' IQs.

I didn't mean it to be a flame on Nina, only that we have to consider the
unintended consequences of our actions. Nor did I intend for it to be a
joke, as there are those who take LNT and watching out for our hosts (the
flora and fauna) when we visit the trail.

Now, I'd be very keen for folks to pick blackberries by the side of roads
and fences like I've always done. I get my blueberries from my backyard and
favorite You Pick 'Em spot (Blueberry Patch). I even have the usual recipes
for muffins, pancakes, cobblers and dehydrated berries that everyone else
has. I really don't pretend to be a saint regarding berry picking, but I do
limit myself to the occasional handful as I walk along. I try to bring the
stuff I plan to eat along the trail.

BTW, I don't know that I've ever seen raspberries in Western Carolina,
outside of gardens. Are they out there?

Bill....

<The IQ myth has been a big topic among psychiatric lists, as well as a
couple of books that attempt to perform "psychoanalysis" on the current and
previous President. There are ample reasons to like and dislike a number of
candidates, but these are not ethical or ultimately credible ways to
campaign. You can fool some of the people some of the time, but....(How
does that go?)>
