Oh geez...Bryan.  LOL  You just gotta have something to be peevish about,

Yes, you will find that "decimate" also means to "select by lot and kill
every 10th man of" and "exact a tax of 10%".  However, and it is still a
true definition of the word....decimate also means "to reduce drastically,
especially in number."  That 3rd definition is what most normal people use
as their main definition of the word in this day and age.

Oh!  And, BTW...peave is correctly spelled P-E-E-V-E.  Just so you know for
future reference.  That's just a pet peeve of mine.  <VVVBG>
