Hi all,
Since it should be quite warm on my upcoming Foothills Trail hike, I was
pondering some things regarding gear. First, I'll be hiking in shorts and a
t-shirt. What will I need for sleeping/extra clothes? I don't THINK I'll
need more than another set shorts/t-shirt, but SHOULD I take something
warmer? I will be taking my rain jacket, but not rain pants. Do I need
some kind of long pants? BTW, I also carry a space blanket.
I am taking a hammock instead of tent. Is there any reason to take a
sleeping pad? I've slept in the hammock a few times and have not used a
pad. I'm thinking it's just extra weight, and since the temps will be so
warm, I might not even use a sleeping bag. (Yes, I AM taking one.)
That's it for now.... thanks in advance!
:-)
