The thing that really annoys me is those little computers that people tap their journals into, then download them into telephones in town.  The clicking is annoying to me, the fact that they're concentrating on that instead of interacting with their sheltermates is frustrating to me, and, when they download, it goes on and on with what I find to be the most obnoxious noise.  I know because my favorite room at Kincora Hostel is the one by the phone, and people come in with those things and ruin my sleep experience.  <G>  Also, one year there, there was a couple who came in, and they each had one.  They spoke to no one, just tapped into those little things for hours at a time.  Then, they had to download.......  Not a pretty experience.  At least, cell phones are a sometimes thing.  Not so with those little handheld computers.
