I first met Miss Janet this last January in South Carolina at the SORUCK. I
had the opportunity to stay at Miss Janet's last month, and I have to say
that she is one of the most down to earth people I've ever met. She is such
a hiker advocate and really cares about those on the trail. Her hostel
doesn't feel like a hostel. It feels like a home. Her graciousness is
readily evident in the way she mothers her kids (kids also includes her
hiking children ;-))
If you get the chance, you really need to stop by and say hello or spend the
night.
