Dot,

According to folks in my video 2000 Miles to Maine, the Wanderlust
leaks. So maybe you want to get a different tent. (Can you get your
money back?) We love our Sierra Designs Clip Flashlight. Ten years
plus... And if you want to order the DVD you can Google 2000 Miles to
Maine. Its shown to great response at Trail Days -- over 100 people saw
it. You can also just click this funky link to go directly to the page

If it leaks, it's the buyers fault. We are the ones that are supposed to
seal it.
My Nomad Lite went with me on my Thruhike in 2003 and never leaked
(except the 2 places I forgot to seal). It will gather condensation, since
it
is sil nylon, but no leaks. No one I have spoken to that owns one listed
leaks as a complaint, they all loved the tent. For a one person tent...

Now as for the clip flashlight, I have one of those too. I love it. But it's
3
pounds heavier than my Wanderlust, Nomad Lite. Good if you need a 2
person tent, with better winter warming properties (2 of us spent the night
in -5 temps and were OK). If you want Wanderlust 2-4-2 raves, many people
on the list use those on their thruhikes too.
