My summer isn't shaping up as planned. I planned to thru-hike the NPT in July but that now looks like August. I planned to hike a section of the AT from Springer to where-ever (Fontana Dam?) in Sept. but I may be delaying that. How late in the fall before it starts getting really cold there? Saunterer
