[at-l] Datto's PCT hike

I got an email from Datto today.  He's laid up with hurt knee.  Here's that 
part of the email:

I wrenched my knee a few days ago during a face-plant on
the trail. Scuffed my face up too. Ha, simple things like
walking some days seem to be a challenge for my brain. Good
thing I wasn't chewing gum.

I'm resting my knee until my knee can figure out what it's
going to do. Might have to go into a clinic if my knee
can't get it's act together soon.

A big PCT thru-hiker logjam at Kennedy Meadows yesterday
(that's at milepoint 697.0). Musta been 30 thru-hikers
there -- a birthday party for a guy named Meadow Ed -- had
a fun all-you-can-eat dinner at the Kennedy Meadows General
Store.
