[at-l] Into the Void



Small world.  I actually went to college with one of the women on that expedition.  She was in my class but I didn't know her well.

"Into Thin Air"
Haven't  finished this one but it's promising.


 
Scott Fischer led the expedition (sponsored by Starbucks I think). He  
graduated 
from Ridge High School in Basking Ridge, NJ a year or so after I  did... It's 
kind of 
strange to read a story like that about someone you knew, even if  you  
didn't know 
him well.  So I didn't. 
There is some debate between the author & other expedition  members about the 
facts
in the book. But from what I understand, the author was on the expedition  
too so it 
can't be too far off.
