[at-l] Continuing Land Sales in Maine's North Woods

I urge everyone who think it important that the trail in Maine remains wild=
to read Phyllis Austins piece about recent land sales -- and to ignore TJ'=
s distorted report on what it says.

When investors buy millions of acres of mountains and woodlands in a state =
with an increasingly bankrupt wood industry and a depleted forest, the conc=
ern of wise people about likely development near the trail hardly qualifies=
 as "hysterics."

Well, at least TJ has finally gotten the location of the land sales right. =
A few days ago he was claiming it was all happening in southern and coastal=
 Maine.

Weary
