The article says:
"Vermont should be both honored and concerned to find itself on the National
Trust for Historic Preservation's 2004 list of endangered historic places."
Bull!
Vermont has lots of pristine, beautiful areas, but face it... In the big
shopping areas,
VT is a glut of preppy, crap outlets. All sh*t that locals only need to
bring in tourists.
All stuff that drives up the cost of local land, taxes & such. They are an
eye sore.
Manchester Center is a good example. It's an ugly eye sore, there are so
many stores
& shopping areas. When it came to cheating tourists, there was no uproar, no
worries
about how Vermont looked, about it's historic image. Why didn't someone have
a fit
when they destroyed the beauty of the state with all the outlets?
I'm just sayin'...
