A "shelter system" is not what I am looking for.  I prefer a site to hang my 
hammock by a stream or on a mountain top where a good view is available.  The 
Shelters do allow for social interaction as they seem to be destinations for 
those out there but I saw that take place (social interaction) at Justus Creek 
as hikers congregated in separate groups.  Besides, the bears and mice depend 
upon a shelter and it would be better if they didn't.
