someone is trying to get the state of Vermont classified as a historical
landmark.  This is an attempt to keep Walmart from establishing stores in
the state.   the people spearheading this movement are afraid if walmart
does come into the state, the quaint little downtown stores / shopping
districts  will be forced to close due to the competition.  Thus ruining the
*appeal* of Vermont.
