[at-l] Trail crew clothing

I've noticed from trail work I'v done that MANY of the
regulars wear Carhart work pants. Seems to take a
licking and keeps on ticking.

I am not a regular on trail crew work, do a weeks
total per year. When I do trail work I actually wear
my leather boots, long nylon hiking pants and work
gloves. Seems to work.

A thought occured to me of what may work as well. Go
to your local army/navy store and by the surplus BDUs
(and they come in non cammo colors! :D). They are a
Nylon/Cotton blend. Dries quicker than blue jeans, not
as expensive as Carharts, more durable than most
hiking pants. Probably work very well for trail work.
