[at-l] Questions about getting around Franklin, NC

Members of the local hiking club will shuttle hikers to and from the trail
(we gave a couple of courtesy dollars).  Last year I hitched in, then 3 of
us arranged a ride back to the trail.  We stayed at the Microtel, but I
don't recall the price.  Pizza Hut across the street; Shoney's right in
front of the hotel; outfitter, laundry, and grocery not far.  The front desk
had a list of shuttlers.  You could call the hotel and ask for some phone
numbers in advance.
