A heads up for those backpacking here in Georgia and I imagine up the AT -- the ticks are out in Full Force.  I'm picking them (dead) off the dogs (Frontline works!) and I'm picking them alive out of my hair after doing yard work.

These are your 'usual suspects' and not the tiny deer ticks.
