Congratulations. Girl children are wonderful - but it's usually easier for 
us males to share testosterone-type toys with boy children.  <G>

But you shouldn't have to wait that long to hike - after all, Cindy Ross had 
her kids on the CDT when the youngest was 18 months.  By the time he was 4, 
he was an experienced hiker.  You might want to look up her book - "Scraping 
Heaven".

Or maybe you just need to drag him off into the woods "with" his momma?
