Bruce notes that his experience with poison ivy suggests that a year after 
touching the stuff, a sleeping bag can still deliver the noxious oils.

Really, that was my point. It takes an indefinite amount of time to 
degrade. Don't go touching your face with work gloves. Don't put your 
sleeping bag in a bed of PI. Don't whiz on the electric fence. Don't sit 
downwind of a fire of Poison Ivy vines and roots.
