Hello, All.

This morning Skylander is beginning his hike, although not the AT, on the 
approach trail.  I hope that this decision is not going to shoot him in the foot. 
 Maybe someone at the new hostel talked him out of it, since he was 
ambivilent earlier.

At any rate, this is his day.  I am transcribing for him on 
TrailJournals.com.  I hope he makes it all the way because what he writes will be interesting, 
and it will give me "something positive to do" as I await March 5, 2005.  (My 
selfish reasoning.)

He sent me his picture to post on his journal.  Of course, I haven't the 
foggiest idea how to do that, so I'll be struggling to get it up before his first 
on-trail post arrives.  

He plans to be at Neels Gap on the 5th.  If any of you people in that region 
come across him, please encourage him to keep heading north.  There's so much 
wonderment ahead.
