Damascus is 460 miles.

Damascus is about 8 MPD from Springer.

If they are hiking fast right now, their only problem will be getting a
shuttle back to Trail Daze.

Trail Days Starts May 8.

March 12 to May 8 is 57 days.  If by fast you mean 20 MPD, they will need a
shuttle
back from up around the MD/PA line.  15 MPD would put them up around
Rockfish Gap.

May 8th - Town wide yard sale

May 8th - Street Dance starting @ 8:00.  Band - Southern 76

May 8th - Appalachian Trail Days Pageant at Holston High School.
Registration begins at 5:30. Pageant begins at 6:30.


May 13th - Vendors and campers are allowed to start setting up for the
weekend

May 16th - Hikers Talent Show

Hello everyone:

Does anyone have information about Bears Den Hostel, and lodging at Ashby
Gap/US 50 (20.5 mi N Ft. Royal VA).
Wasn't there something on the list not too long ago-I can't remember what it
was and I can't find it.

Anyone from the list offering shuttle service anywhere in this area
including north and around Harpers Ferry?

Also-do you think 2 hikers starting the AT at Springer on March 12 can make
it in time to Trail Days (Hoplite & TT)?
