[at-l] bus to trail?

Good evening, 

Looking for transport, probably bus, from Providence to beginning of Mass AT on Vermont border from where I will head south for 5 to 6 days. I need info on where the bus will take me close to the AT both at the beginning of Mass trail and somewhere near the Conn border. Open to all possibilities.

Any suggestions.
