[at-l] blazing frequently assumes "nice" conditions

Snow is a known problem and should be known by users hiking in deep snow. I
have been out many times just after new snow which has plastered itself on
all the trees completely hiding any blazes that might be there. All blazes
on rocks are also among the missing. I have even been on the trail in Maine
when the snow was deeper than the blazes. Snow is a condition you just have
to learn to live with and prepare for. Those venturing forth should be
prepared with good maps and compasses. It also helps if someone who knows
the trail has preceeded you, even by days, as they leave a fair track even
if there is new snow on top of it.
