I attended a briefing on the Penobscot River project at the Patagonia Store in
Freeport, across the street from LL Bean in January and for a door prize I won a
$270 Patagonia rain jacket. Who says environmental advocacy doesn't pay?

 Unfortunately, the jacket is too heavy for serious backpacking. Oh well.
