Regarding ankle problems, you might want to look into a book called
"Pain
Free," by Peter Egoscue (ee-go-skew). He's a San Diego P.T. who has a
reputation for the approach that it shouldn't hurt to be human. My PT
recommended the book after I was in a car accident. It's clearly
written
and the exercises are really nicely illustrated. If you stick with it
for
at least three months, you will see huge improvements, not only a
decrease
in pain but an increase in overall strength, flexibility, balance,
fluidity
of movement, grace, and overall functioning. Very Good Stuff.
