Coosa is keen for information on the care and maintenance of Snowpeak
Chopsticks.
First, olive oil and any similar vegetable oil is quite good for any wood
to be in contact with food. You might consider lanolin if you plan on
knitting or using it to pick nits from your hair, but the flavor might be
off a bit.
Second, these come with their own convenient carry case: you unscrew the
wooden part and reverse it to screw into the titanium handle. Then use
either the carry case or tie them together with ribbon or rubber bands and
place in your shirt pocket.
If you break the teak tips, I think you are out of luck. Use your Lekis to
try prying rocks off your foot.
