A gender issue?  Maybe less so for men, but still quite often.

Around here it is often proceeded by, or followed by, questions about, or
advice about, what sort of gun you are planning, or should plan to carry.

Earlier in life, I got a bunch of questions about
arrangements/plans/opportunities related to sex life, six months celibacy,
etc.

Now it is more about, my health, medical supplies, bowels
habits/arrangements, etc.

Hum, non-trail life has taken something of the same turn ;-)}
