[at-l] new hiker questions

April asks an On Topic question about how to deal with
section hiking logistics: what to do with the car? Her
plan is to start at Abol Bridge and end somewhere in
Vermont.

Why drive a car across the continent? Gas is getting
more expensive. Parking somewhere and getting a
shuttle back to her car would be expensive and time
consuming.

I bet dimes to donuts that Air Tran, America West or
similar discount airline into Boston, a bus or shuttle
to Maine, and a flight home from Burlington VT would
be cheaper and an easier logistic exercise.

BTW, does anyone have a bag of smashmellows?
