[at-l] OT Non-partisan politcal link / Best Wishes for 2004 AT Hikers

OK, before this starts getting ugly... And, I was so pleased that we seemed
to be discussing our differences in a refreshingly intelligent (and
sometimes humorous, teasing) manner.

But, let's not forget that we are all HIKERS and this is a list about
hiking! :-)

Maybe this thread has reached a logical end point, especially since we've
already each had our "last word".

And, most importantly, there are people (of varying political beliefs) who
are getting ready to embark on their AT journeys NOW. Why don't we of the
at-l give them a big, cheery and encouraging sendoff? I'll start....

****I hereby extend my greatest admiration and best wishes to the Class of
2004 AT hikers! :-)****
