I turned into a Democrat, which I am not 100%.  Fiscally conservative and Socially generous.

I was a Goldwater Girl when I was a teen ager.

All that makes me is "old" -- I'm more of a Dixie-crat -- the "good" parts of both parties.  Or at least that's what we hope.
