Oh, I forgot to add, I did also have a 256MP card as well. But I only used it once or twice. It took a long time to fill up, and I felt vulnerable having such long stretches of my hike (irreplaceable pictures!) on one card. I shot at a pretty good resolution too.
Also, my photo support guy ended up posting the shots on my Trailjournal site, so I actually got to see them while I was hiking. What a treat that was, to be mid-hike and look back a few weeks at how far I'd come and the people I had met.
